The Melbourne University Renegades Volleyball Club offers a range of junior programs that cater to the levels of all junior Volleyballers. Our junior programs aim to develop volleyball skills at the earliest possible age from Primary to High school students to provide pathways into Victorian Volleyball League, the Australian Super League, University Scholarship Opportunities, and Professional Volleyball Leagues.
Registration & Fees Process for all Programs
1. New members must create an account on our website. Returning members must update their profile to current membership year (intended membership).
2. Pay your YSL/U19 fees here. These are full year fees.
Pay your Junior Development Academy fees here. These are monthly based fees.
Please note, all programmes are independent from each other and all have separate fees.
Renegades Junior Development Academy
Our Renegades Junior Development Academy runs from February to November and offers a training environment to learn and play volleyball. Players aged 18 and under of all abilities are welcome. Training sessions include both technical skills work and fun gameplay coached by experienced coaches.
When and Where
Bundha Sports Centre every Sunday 5pm to 7pm.

Youth State League Competition (YSL) – U15 and U17
The club will enter team/s into the Youth State League. This league is the highest level of youth volleyball played in Victoria. The U15/17 teams will have 1 training during the week and 1 game on a Friday night every week for the duration of the competition. The schedule for the games on Friday nights will be confirmed by Volleyball Victoria in March of each year, where the time and location may differ from week to week.
Trials, Training and Cost
• Trials start late January and are located at the Melbourne University Sport or Ivanhoe Grammar School
• Trainings are once per week at either Melbourne University Sport or Ivanhoe Grammar School

Boys
• Blue Team: Monday 4:00pm-5:30pm at Melbourne University Sport Centre
• White Team: Wednesday 6:00pm-7:30pm at Ivanhoe Grammar School
Girls
• Thursday 6:00pm-7:30pm at Ivanhoe Grammar School

U/19 Boys/Girls Premier League Competition
The club will enter U/19 teams into the U/19 Premier League. The U/19 Teams will have at least 1 training during the week and games are on a Saturday every week for the duration of the competition. The schedule for the games will be confirmed by Volleyball Victoria in March of each year, where the time and location may differ from week to week.

There are a number of 1-Day round robin tournaments held throughout the year that we will enter (depending on numbers). Players will be advised of details as squad numbers allow.
