The Melbourne University Renegades Volleyball Club offers a range of junior programs that cater to the levels of all junior Volleyballers. Our junior programs aim to develop volleyball skills in high school students, & provide pathways into Professional Volleyball Leagues, University Scholarship Opportunities, the Australian Super League, and the Victorian Volleyball League.
Registration & Fees Process
1. New members must create an account on our website. Returning members must update their profile to current membership year (intended membership).

Please note, all programmes are independent from each other and all have separate fees.
Beginners – Junior Mixed Social Training
Our Junior Mixed Social Training sessions run from February to November and offer a more relaxed environment to learn and play volleyball. Players aged 18 and under of all abilities are encouraged to attend. Training sessions include both technical skills work and fun gameplay.
Where and When
Trainings are held on Mondays from 4:00pm-5:30pm at Melbourne University Sports Centre from February to November (including school holidays)
Trial Process and Cost
• Your first two sessions are free and don’t require registration or payment.
• Fees for the Junior Mixed Social Training are $545.00 (GST Incl.) (Full Year).
Youth State League (YSL) – U15 and U17
The club will enter team/s into the Junior State League. The Junior State League is the highest level of junior volleyball played in Victoria.
Trials, Training and Cost
• Trials start late January and are located at the Melbourne University Sport or Ivanhoe Grammar School
• Trainings are once per week at either Melbourne University Sport or Ivanhoe Grammar School
• Fees for YSL are $634.00 (GST Incl.)
Boys
• Blue Team: Monday 4:00pm-5:30pm at Melbourne University Sport Centre
• White Team: Wednesday 6:00pm-7:30pm at Ivanhoe Grammar School
Girls
• Thursday 6:00pm-7:30pm at Ivanhoe Grammar School
U/19 Premier League
The club will enter U/19 teams into the U/19 Premier League. The U/19 Team will have 1 training and 1 game on a Friday night every week when the competition begins. The schedule for the games on Friday nights are yet to be confirmed but the time and location may differ from week to week.

Boys
• Wednesdays from 6:00pm-9:0pm at Ivanhoe Grammar School
Girls
• Wednesdays from 6:00pm-9:0pm at Ivanhoe Grammar School
Tournaments
There are a number of 1-Day round robin tournaments held throughout the year that we will enter (depending on numbers). Players will be advised of details as squad numbers allow.
