Melbourne University Renegades is one of the biggest volleyball clubs in Melbourne, Australia. We cater for players of all levels, from the Victorian Volleyball League through to social and junior programs. Our club is open to all, you do not need to be a Melbourne University student. NEARLY THERE: WEEK 2 OF VVL FINALS! ๐คLast weekend, we saw the semi-finals of the 2026 VVL finals go down and with it we had some victories and upsets.Nevertheless, all of our teams have a chance to play for some medals this weekend at the final round of the 2026 VVL.๐ฅPLM2 and SLW1B will be playing off for gold!๐ฅPLM1 and SLM2 will be playing for 3rd place bronze!This weekend we will commemorate the passing of our dear club member and friend, Katie Mackey, with blue bands around our players arms in spirit. Everyone is invited to share this moment and wear a hint of blue, as it was her colour more than anyonesโ. ๐We hope to see you all there and cheer for our teams as we end the season all together. It is with heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Katie Mackey, a treasured member of the volleyball community and a beloved member of our club.Katie was a cherished club member, teammate, and friend.This weekend, our teams will wear blue armbands in Katieโs memory.
